SLCC interventions are widely endorsed at district level and quoting the region’s agricultural Director ‘’…SLCC project activities has strategic appeal to address many of the challenges confronting small scale family farmers in the district’’. Given the fact that Kono is infamously known for diamond mining activities, our interventions, targeting families are contributing silently in changing the economic status and contributing in improving the district’s food security situation leading to improved nutritional outcomes for women and children in the district.
